The Kings Head - Pebmarsh - Essex

In pleasant countryside north of Earls Colne and Halstead, The Kings Head is a richly timbered free house dating from about 1450. Built as a drovers' inn, it stands in the beautiful North Essex village of Pebmarsh, a stone's throw from the 12th century church. Sadly ceased trading on Wednesday 26th August 2009.
